Songs of the film are below par and especially the marriage song in the second half further spoils the flow of the film. Dialogues are OK and so is the background score.
Editing is quite bad as a number of scenes in the film could have been chopped off. Director Anil Jason disappoints us completely even though he had a quite strong script. On the whole, Aa Aiduguru is one film with good script and pretty bad execution. Under utilization of stars, and waving off from the main plot are the major drawbacks of this film. Movie Review : IPS officer-turned-chief minister Raghuram wants to change the society by tapping youth power. However, the ex-chief minister cannot tolerate his rise and popularity and plans to eliminate him. Candidates picked for the Next Generation Force NGF have to be trained in every respect to make the youth a force to reckon with to bring about change.
He knows the mind of the chief minister and therefore gets onto the job of moulding the candidates. However, the rigorous training is not something some of the candidates had bargained for. Five of them get booted out after getting enough chances to continue there.
And it is these five that the ex-chief minister, played by Nagineedu, forces to be part of his plan to eliminate the chief minister. Venkat plays his role to perfection with his toned body as the instructor and gets into the skin of his character. Asmita Sood, as another senior police official in the academy has a minor role but significant for the story. And yes, she does impress in a fight sequence. Asmita Sood is killed by those in cohorts with the ex-CM.
